Podcasting has become very popular, and there are several available for review. Here we list 7 of the more popular found on the internet.

The beauty of using podcasts is that you can listen in the car, while you are working, or relaxing on the beach! With the demand for various forms of study for PMP exam prep, continuing education for career advancement (and PDUs), solving specific problems, and simply broadening our experience bases with new ideas, project management podcasts are a terrific and practical resource and have become very popular.

Here are 7 top project management podcast resources I have found. Please comment if you know of others!

The Project Management Podcast

Cornelius Fichtner produces weekly podcasts on a variety of project management topics. Each episode typically provides an interview with a project management subject matter expert, and these experts represent a wide range of topical areas within the project management field.

The Project Management PrepCast

Learn about the concepts, methods, tools and techniques – based on the PMBOK - as you prepare for the CAPM exam or PMP exam.

PMThink!

PM author Jerry Manas provides monthly podcasts in his blog PMThink! on “Project Management Thought Leadership - The Latest Word in Project and Portfolio Management”.

The PMO Podcast

BOT International, experts on PMOs (Project Management Office) provides an extensive list of PM podcasts, with a strong leaning towards PMO-specific issues.

pm411.org Project Management Podcast

Ron Holohan, PMP provides a regular series of podcasts on various PM topics, including tools and techniques.

PM Podcasts from Project Connections Presented by Carl Pritchard, PMP, these podcasts are not free. There were 7 or so monthly podcasts which stopped in May 2007.

Controlling Chaos, The Podcast

This podcast by Dina Henry Scott, PMP is “dedicated to helping you succeed in managing projects in the real world.” Episodes are “experience-oriented”.
