IT outsourcing continues to grow and mature.  Not only is more being outsourced, but outsourcing activitiy is also slowly maturing.

I looked at a pretty good sideshow – Outsourcing Slideshow: 10 Functions Ripe for Outsourcing – this morning.  What I noticed about the listing was that not only is it suggestive about what firms can consider doing, but also what is likely to end up as a combination of in-house and outsoucered resources.  It is this optmiaition of the ideal blend, for each function and for each particular situation, that is the chanllenge to IT outsourcing.
